Laurent Heib D.O

Laurent Heib D.O

Laurent Heib graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1985 with a diploma in Osteopathy. Whilst there, he volunteered in the children’s clinic. He has maintained a special interest in osteopathic treatments for children, especially those with cerebral palsy and Down’s syndrome along with developmental childhood problems and spinal scoliosis.

Laurent developed an interest in ME/CFS and fibromyalgia as he had several patients with these distressing symptoms. He has been a Perrin practitioner for several years and has attended many conferences and courses to do with ME/CFS and fibromyalgia for which he sees success. As sufferers will know, these conditions are very difficult to help with but we have had many successes in this field.

Laurent also works with adults suffering from muscular skeletal problems and has helped many people over the years with his cranial skills. A naturally developed area of interest has been in helping with knee conditions including osteoarthritis of the knee, sports injuries, and traumas to the knee (for example from skiing accidents).
Hazel Spriggs D.O

Hazel Spriggs D.O

Hazel Spriggs graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1984 with a diploma in Osteopathy. Whilst there, she volunteered at both the pregnancy and children’s clinics and has maintained a strong interest in both these areas, having attended many postgraduate courses in these disciplines. Pregnancy is a wonderful time for this kind of therapy as the body is very responsive and great changes can be made, helping both with symptoms due to the pregnancy but also long standing problems and preparing the mother for the birth.

Hazel believes very strongly in treatment for babies as they respond very well, helping to provide relief for both the baby and parent, and this can also help prevent some problems from developing in the future. Hazel believes that keeping a child physically healthy will benefit them as they grow, and later on in adulthood.

Hazel offers a range of treatments suitable for everyone, from newborn babies to the elderly, including structural osteopathy and cranio-sacral. She also really enjoys helping the elderly as many aches and pains can be eased with gentle articulation and massage, so that the patient can enjoy their hobbies and interests in these later years.
