Hazel Spriggs graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1984 with a diploma in Osteopathy. Whilst there, she volunteered at both the pregnancy and children’s clinics and has maintained a strong interest in both these areas, having attended many postgraduate courses in these disciplines. Pregnancy is a wonderful time for this kind of therapy as the body is very responsive and great changes can be made, helping both with symptoms due to the pregnancy but also long standing problems and preparing the mother for the birth.
Hazel believes very strongly in treatment for babies as they respond very well, helping to provide relief for both the baby and parent, and this can also help prevent some problems from developing in the future. Hazel believes that keeping a child physically healthy will benefit them as they grow, and later on in adulthood.
Hazel offers a range of treatments suitable for everyone, from newborn babies to the elderly, including structural osteopathy and cranio-sacral. She also really enjoys helping the elderly as many aches and pains can be eased with gentle articulation and massage, so that the patient can enjoy their hobbies and interests in these later years.
